How and Where to Submit Your SSQ Group Insurance Claims

  • You have one year from the date of the receipt to submit the claim.
  • Always keep a copy for your records along with the date you submitted the claim.
  • When submitting a claim, you have four options.

  • Submit your claim with ACCESS, reimbursements are done in 48 hours for most treatment types.

Claim using the SSQ mobile app

Download the free SSQ Mobile Services application and get reimbursed in 48 hours for most treatment types.

Using your SSQ Insurance card

Present your SSQ Insurance card at the dentist’s office or at the pharmacy. You will pay only for the expenses not covered under your group insurance contract.

By mail

  • Complete, print and sign the claim form and mail it along with all the original receipts.
  • Personalized forms are available on the secure ACCESS website. (Simply fill them out, print and sign.)
  • If you can’t find the form you’re looking for call SSQ Customer Service at 1-888-651-8181.
  • The numbers to dial can also be found at the back of your SSQ insurance card.

Travel Insurance Claim

  • Whenever possible, contact CanAssistance before obtaining treatment or medical care outside your province of residence.
  • You will be directed to the physician, clinic or hospital that is able to provide the emergency care you need.
  • Your claim will be that much simpler.
