Quebec government insults public health care staff with latest contract offer
The Quebec Government insults public sector workers with the latest contract offer outlined in a 5-page report which also would increase the retirement age from 60 to 62.
According to the report, for the first two years wages would be frozen, followed by a one per cent increase for each of the remaining three years of the five-year contract.
The retirement age would increase from 60 to 62, with the pension benefits based on the best eight years, instead of the current five years.
