Moving day began for the MUHC this Sunday morning January 25, 2014, at approximately 8:20 AM. The first step in a series of planned transfers from the older scheduled to close MUHC heritage sites, involved the transfer of 17 patients from the Montreal Chest Institute to the Lachine Hospital.
Bed-ridden patients will be transfer by ambulance and Medicare buses for the more mobile patients. The moves is estimated to take two hours.
