This is in reply to the questions we are receiving regarding the safety after the flooding and sewage incidents at the Glen Campus.
As VP of Occupational Health and Safety representing the MUHC CSN employees, I have contacted the MUHC OH&S requesting assurances that the water and the environment/s which have been exposed to flooding/sewage are safe.
Along with the assurances , we also requested the test results, protocols and to add the flooding / sewage file to the agenda of this weeks upcoming Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
Rest assured that all efforts will be made to ensure not only the safety of our members but for the MUHC community.
Initial contact has been made with other MUHC Unions and the Patient Committee. We will keep you posted on the development of the file.
