Last vote date Monday February 01, 2016

Our original salary demand was a wage increase of 4.5 per cent per year for the next three years, for a total of 13.5 per cent. The goal was to stop the impoverishment of public sector workers,  help them catch up in back wages with the private sector and ultimately allow them to get ‘richer’.

The governments contract offer benefits only a small number of job titles, the vast majority of job titles will become poorer in 2019 than they are today. It’s time to take a stand!

The tentative agreement reached in December gives approximately 15 job titles a 5,25 per cent wage increase over five years. These members are not only our co-workers, but also members of our society . Before we vote there is one question we need to ask ourselves, this time around it is them that are getting @#%&*, who will get @#%&* on next contract, You, Me?

Vote NO to the government offer!
