Police arrest 28 year old MUHC Children's Hospital medical resident for allegedly stealing narcotics

A 28 year old medical resident at the MUHC, Montreal Children’s Hospital was arrested after being suspected of being in illegal possession of the opioid fentanyl.

The medical resident was arrested at work by the police and charged with drug possession and theft of narcotics. He was later released after agreeing to meet certain conditions.
The McGill University Health Centre confirmed the accused’s position as a medical resident at the hospital but said no further comment would be issued regarding the arrest
