Six months into his tenure as CEO, Dr. Pierre Gfeller, has made sweeping changes to upper management — and has signalled he will replace more key administrators.
Among the managers who have left thus far are Imma Franco, previously director of technical services and real-estate management who oversaw the opening of the MUHC superhospital in April 2015; and Richard Fahey, who headed human resources (responsible for the security portfolio, among other dossiers) as well as being in charge of legal affairs and communications. Mathieu Jetté, who was co-ordinator of emergency measures and security, has been on medical leave since shortly before his position was abolished.
Meanwhile, Julia Asselstine, assistant director of communications and engagement, will leave the MUHC on Friday.
