According to McGill University Health Center (MUHC) lawyers, the new Glen superhospital cost an extra $934 Million, as a result of the fraud for which former assistant director general of planing and real estate management of the institution Yanaï Elbaz, pleaded guilty to on Monday.
Lawyers stated in court that it will be impossible for the MUHC to be compensated for such a sum and requested the court award the medical centre the $6 million belonging to the former administrator, frozen in foreign accounts.
