CHUM and Sainte Justine on Forbes magazine Canada’s Best Employers list – MUHC LEFT OUT

Forbes magazines 2019 list of Canada’s Best Employers, includes two Montreal hospital centres, the CHUM (translated as University of Montreal Health Centre) and CHU Sainte-Justine (translated as Hospital University Centre Sainte-Justine) but excluded the McGill University Health Centre.

The list compiled by Statista surveyed 8,000 employees at 1500 companies with at least 500 employees. The 300 employers with the highest employees satisfaction made the list.

This is the second ‘best employer’ list since January for which the MUHC did not make the cut. The MUHC was excluded from Montreal’s Top Employers 2019 list. The hospital centre last appeared on the 2015 list.

69/300 – The CHU Sainte-Justine (Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine) is the largest mother and child centre in Canada and one of the four most important pediatric centres in North America. This university health centre is affiliated with the Université de Montréal.

273/300 – The CHUM, (Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal) is one of two major healthcare networks in the city of Montreal. It is a teaching institution affiliated with the French-language Université de Montréal.
