Environment Canada Issues Snow Fall Warning For Sunday Morning – Deteriorating travel conditions

Snowfall warning in effect for Montreal Island Area

• Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
• Strong winds combined with snow will cause local blowing snow.
• Consider modifying non essential travel plans.
• Remove snow from roofs to avoid the risk of them collapsing under the weight of the heavy snowfall expected.
• Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.

• Châteauguay – La Prairie area
• Laval area
• Longueuil – Varennes area
