Montreal doctors and health professionals take to the streets to call for stronger gun laws in Canada
Doctors and health professionals in 13 cities across the country to join in a National Day of Action on April 3rd to call for stronger gun laws in Canada.
The Canadian Doctors for Protection From Guns is asking for a full ban on handguns and assault weapons as well as the adoption of Bill C-71, which toughens regulations on firearms possession.
The coalition formed by trauma doctors, nurses, ambulance technicians, and ER specialists, left the Montreal General Hospital Wednesday morning and marched to the McGill University medical building.
