Measles Virus Infected Employee Worked in Glen ICU, Cardiac Surgery Unit, Cardiovascular Heart Failure-Transplant Clinic

According to the McGill University Health Centre the employee infected with the measles virus worked from March 23 – 27, in the Glen site’s intensive care unit (ICU), cardiac surgery unit, and cardiovascular heart failure-heart transplant clinic.

The employee who was vaccinated contracted the illness while on a trip to the Caribbean.

Yesterday, Dr. Marie-Astrid Lefebvre an infectious diseases specialist with the MUHC stated to Global News, “We have established a list of all the exposed employees and patients and are verifying their immune status against measles.”
