Last week Director of Multidisciplinary Services, adult sites (DSM) and Mental Health Mission; and responsible for NSA/SAPA trajectory, Antoinette Di Re, informed MUHC employees that starting April 24, 2019 cafeteria prices will increase on average 2.6 per cent.
In her memo, Antoinette Di Re, gave the high cost of food as the reason for the increase. The increase will also impact patients and visitors, “Employees and patients will continue to receive a rebate of 6 per cent on the new prices,” Di Re wrote.
In April 2019 there is no pay raise for the health and social service employees, some employees will receive a pay scale adjustment starting April 02, others will only receive the, 16 cents an hour lump sum.
