Figures obtained by the Canadian Press, show that between 2016 and 2018 the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) raised $2.6 million from renting out the old Royal Victoria Hospital as film sets for television series and movies.

The Royal Victoria Hospital was inaugurated in 1893 and closed in April 2015 after the MUHC Glen superhospital opened.
