Public employee salaries are public knowledge, as they should be since it is the taxpayer, the public, who foot the bill.

The official seniority list, which is published by the employer according to the National Contract on May 1, includes employee salaries. The indicated salary amount do not include extra income, such as overtime pay. National Contract on May 1st.

The McGill University Health Centre publicly published the management and supervisor salaries on June 13, 2019, at 2.09:19 p.m. Of the 322 management positions on the list, the income of over one third (123) is above $100,000. Eleven have revenues exceeding $200,000, with President and CEO Dr. Gfeller the highest at $311,812.
The indicated salaries do not include on-call premiums, personal or departmental expense accounts.
