Quebec Issues Warning: Ground Beef Sold by Marché Adonis in Laval May Contain E. Coli Bacteria

QUEBEC, Feb. 14, 2020. Quebec ministry of agriculture, fisheries and food (MAPAQ), issued a public warning for consumers not to consume ground beef sold by Marché Adonis Laval, located at 2425 Boulevard Curé Labelle on Friday.

The ground beef may contain dangerous quantities of E. Coli, which carry harmful shiga toxin bacteria. The bacteria can produce severe abdominal cramps, bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Among young children and older adults, the bacteria can lead to kidney failure.

According to the (MAPAQ) the units sold on Jan. 30, 2020 with the following packaging date: 2020JA30. The products in the table below should not be consumed and returned to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
