To reduce the risk of coronavirus COVID-19 contamination, the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), is offering its workers free parking, to help them avoid using public transit.
Temporary parking passes will be issued on a first come basis for workers who currently don’t hold a parking permit. Workers who already own a parking pass, according to the hospital centres’ communique will not be charged.
The new free permits will allow staff to park at the Hotel Dieu hospital parking lot. Employees will then be transferred by shuttle to the various CHUM sites.
